Job summary

Responsibilities include end-to-end ontology lifecycle management, governance framework establishment, and alignment of domain ontologies with enterprise assets. Hybrid in-office work with client travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years hands-on ontology engineering experience.
• 12+ years owning production-grade domain ontologies in enterprise environments.
• 12 years in lead/architect roles with standards, governance, and roadmap ownership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Science, CS, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the ontology lifecycle from requirements to long-term stewardship.
• Define and govern enterprise ontology architecture, URI strategy, and versioning.
• Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise semantic assets.
• Establish governance standards, sign-off, and documentation across teams.
