IES Communications seeks a Superintendent to lead medium to large projects, ensuring safety, quality and financial performance per company requirements. The role focuses on staffing, materials and scheduling to drive efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.

The position requires recruiting and mentoring staff, managing budgets and costs, reviewing invoices, and acting as the on-site liaison with customers. Strong communication and field leadership are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three years as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum of five years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office.
• Must meet company driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, scope, estimate and manage tasks.
• Proficient with common trade tools listed in job.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage and discipline project staff and mentor to meet goals.
• Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Plan, monitor and maintain project profitability and deadlines.
• Manage workload distribution, staffing levels and progress.
• Ensure productivity, budget compliance and successful completion.
• Review job cost postings, invoices, collections and reporting.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform quality checks and promote safety as priority.
• Lead operations meetings and training sessions.
• Manage tools and truck inventory/maintenance.
