Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on experience in public accounting, corporate tax or audit, with a relevant professional credential—such as CPA/EA/CIA—.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI to real tax or audit work, including prompt engineering and AI coding tools.
• Experience delivering at least one automation or AI tool used by others, and building evaluation datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL or Python.
• Strong professional judgment when assessing accuracy and managing risk.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into practical solutions and communicate with clients and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with public accounting firms and corporate tax departments to understand workflows and define outcomes.
• Design solutions that preserve professional judgment and include accuracy controls.
• Build prompts and AI automations using Python and low-code platforms.
• Own AI evaluation and validate outputs against professional criteria prior to deployment.
• Support client demonstrations and early engagement discussions of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Thomson Reuters experts to align with product capabilities and professional standards.
