Job summary

Merck seeks a seasoned Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) to oversee field-based operational support for treatment sites in the Mid-South region. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or life sciences, including sales, account management, or provider operations/administration.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record of working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders to implement workflows for complex therapies.
• Ability to operate effectively in “white space” environments with evolving processes, unclear paths, and multiple dependencies.
• Strong operational problem-solving skills, including identifying process friction points, diagnosing root causes, and coordinating next steps with appropriate stakeholders.
• Ability to build and develop meaningful customer relationships with operational stakeholders at treatment sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally, with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, matrix organizations.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness support for product treatment sites, ensuring staff are educated on workflow, system setup, and requirements.
• Provide process-focused education for site stakeholders using approved resources.
• Ensure treatment sites have capabilities and knowledge for end-to-end product execution.
• Serve as the product operational subject matter expert for assigned sites and provide operational guidance.
• Act as primary point of contact for operational issues, triaging and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to support a consistent site experience.
• Build trusted relationships with site leaders by delivering reliable operational support.
• Use data and dashboards to assess site metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Synthesize feedback to help HQ enhance communications and resources.
