Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) to educate and support treatment sites across the New England South geography. The role focuses on onboarding, workflows, and operational execution of end-to-end therapy processes, not clinical treatment.

The TSL will align cross-functional stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive reliable site operations while traveling up to 50% within CT, MA, and RI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or life sciences, including sales, account management, or provider operations/administration.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record of working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders to implement workflows for complex therapies.
• Ability to operate effectively in “white space” environments with evolving processes, unclear paths, and multiple dependencies.
• Strong operational problem-solving skills, including identifying process friction points, diagnosing root causes, and coordinating next steps with appropriate stakeholders.
• Ability to build and develop meaningful customer relationships with operational stakeholders at treatment sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally, with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness support for product treatment sites, educating on workflow, system setup, and operational requirements.
• Deliver process-focused education for site stakeholders using approved resources.
• Help ensure treatment sites have operational capabilities for end-to-end execution of the product journey.
• Serve as the product operational subject matter expert for assigned sites; provide support on process, operations, and logistics.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues; triage and address issues through cross-functional coordination.
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to ensure coordinated engagement and consistent site experience.
• Build trusted relationships with site operational leaders; deliver reliable and responsive support.
• Utilize data and dashboards to assess site metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Synthesize site feedback to help HQ enhance communication, workflows, resources and education.
