Job summary

Merck & Co. is building a field-based team to support onboarding, readiness and end-to-end site execution for an oncology mRNA product.

The Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) will educate treatment sites on workflows, tools, and operational requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure reliable execution throughout the treatment journey. The role covers Mid-South accounts (AL, MS, TN); travel ~50% and residence in the territory are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in healthcare or life sciences
• Experience with provider organizations and operational workflows
• Proven ability to navigate cross-functional workflows
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to travel ~50% and drive
• Ability to build relationships with site operational leaders

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness for product treatment sites, including workflow, system setup and operational requirements
• Deliver process-focused education to site stakeholders using approved resources
• Ensure sites have capability for end-to-end treatment journey execution
• Serve as product operations SME for assigned sites; address operational issues
• Triaging operational issues with cross-functional coordination and defined processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to ensure consistent site experience
• Build trusted relationships with site leaders and monitor operational metrics
• Synthesize site feedback to help HQ enhance workflows and education
