Puma Biotechnology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oncology Sales Specialist to lead promotion and adoption of our first commercial oncology product across the San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and South Texas territory. The role emphasizes strategic planning, decisive execution and building lasting physician relationships.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in pharma/biotech, oncology experience and a proven track record of meeting sales goals in competitive markets. Travel and remote work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology.
• Experience in oncology and/or rare disease preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes robust territory business plans.
• Meets or exceeds sales goals and KPIs.
• Builds long-term relationships with physicians, nurses and office managers.
• Conducts discussions with key physicians to support the product indication.
• Uses approved resources and messages to meet goals.
• Interacts with stakeholders and explains product features and benefits.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including clinical educators, marketers, account managers and medical science liaisons.
• Plans promotional speaker programs in the territory with a Speakers Bureau vendor.
• Monitors market intelligence and shares with brand teams.
• Manages operating costs and ensures activities align with company policies.
