Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an Executive Oncology Sales Representative to support East and West Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. This field-based role reports to a District Manager and focuses on selling oncology therapeutics while navigating access and reimbursement challenges.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years pharma/biotech sales experience, and a willingness to travel, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel including overnights/weekends.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military.
• Residing in the geography or willing to relocate to it.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and accounts.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the products’ clinical efficacy, articulate value proposition, provide clinical support as needed, and achieve sales objectives.
• Develop account strategies with District Manager and plan penetration (key accounts, specific plans).
• Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with objectives and materials.
• Penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the territory.
• Utilize marketing tools and resources and close sales to progress to the next step.
• Discuss access and reimbursement options with customers to improve opportunities.
• Negotiate sales and close orders to meet sales objectives.
