Job summary

IDEAYA Biosciences is seeking a Senior Oncology Account Manager to lead launch and adoption of darovasertib across an assigned US geography. You will act as a strategic territory leader, bridging scientific insight with commercial execution to drive awareness and adoption in academic, community, and referral networks.

Reporting to the Regional Business Director, you will build durable relationships, activate referral pathways, and collaborate with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical sales experience; minimum 5+ years oncology sales experience.
• Proven success launching a first-in-class or specialty oncology product in the US.
• Experience in rare disease, orphan oncology, or highly specialized markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology and darovasertib’s mechanism of action.
• Develop and execute territory strategies to drive product utilization.
• Cultivate relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Translate clinical data into clear product education tailored to stakeholders.
• Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Identify and optimize referral networks across the patient journey.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support accounts.
• Provide insights to guide brand strategy and lifecycle planning.
• Use analytics to optimize resources and adapt plans.
• Adhere to budgets, CRM reporting, and company guidelines.
