Job summary

Hobart Service in Seattle is seeking a skilled Service/Repair Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial food equipment on-site. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems, interpret schematics, and perform preventative maintenance for our customers.

The role requires strong safety discipline, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–7 years of food equipment service and/or 2–4 years HVACR service.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, or EPA are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial food equipment including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose issues and provide on-site service for Hobart Service customers.
• Interpret schematics and follow sequence of operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain assets including vehicle, tools, and inventory.
