Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for a Mesquite, Texas project. You will implement safety reviews on job sites, provide training, and oversee safety systems to maintain an accident-free work environment.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, a bachelor’s degree in Safety/Health, and strong leadership for 1–2 safety professionals. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; on-site work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience on heavy civil projects.
• CHST, CSHO or ASP, CSP certification preferred.
• OSHA 500 preferred.
• CMAR and preconstruction experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examine project settings for safety considerations and processes.
• Develop and review JHA and safety execution plans for subcontractors.
• Create safety training programs and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor training effectiveness and incident investigations as needed.
• Lead site safety meetings and coordinate with owner representatives.
