Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in computer science/engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant systems administration experience.
• Certifications such as VCP/VMCE/Server+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical and virtual servers, OS installation, configuration and patching.
• Manage VMware hosts, clusters, VMs, templates and related infra.
• Maintain enterprise storage provisioning, replication, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee backup and recovery platforms, testing restores and retention policies.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Monitor health, performance, and capacity; perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement security controls, patch management, and access governance.
• Coordinate changes through change-management processes.
• Maintain system documentation and runbooks.
