Weekday AI’s client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join an established global manufacturing environment. You will own across infrastructure, virtualization, security, and end-user support, supporting ~800 users on-site in Nebraska.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive IT experience.
• Hands-on systems administration experience.
• Strong Windows and Active Directory expertise.
• VMware and server virtualization experience.
• Exposure to networking, backups, connectivity, and IT security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree preferred; related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Windows AD environments.
• Support VMware and server virtualization platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
• Support networking infrastructure, including switches and connectivity.
• Assist with backup, recovery, and security initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and overall infrastructure health.
• Provide responsive technical support to users across the organization.
• Help establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure transitions as the IT function grows.
• Document systems, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with technology leaders on infrastructure initiatives.
• Mentor future team members as the department expands.
