Job summary

NuAxis Innovations in Albuquerque, NM seeks a System Administrator VI to serve as a senior SME for enterprise systems. You will own architecture, resilience, operation, and long-term strategy across a shared services data center environment.

The role provides advanced Tier II/III support, leads complex projects, and partners with federal stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable IT operations. Experience in Windows/Linux, VMware, and scripting is essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise system administration.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on technical experience supporting enterprise IT environments at the server and data center level.
Federal enterprise IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as Enterprise Systems SME, providing technical leadership for architecture, resilience, and long-term system strategy.
Support and maintain enterprise systems, including backup and recovery operations.
System patching, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
Interface with CORs and OIT leadership, ensuring security and compliance.
