Job summary

Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for on-site maintenance of the enterprise server and virtualization stack. You will manage Windows Server environments, VMware vSphere clusters, and storage/backup platforms to ensure availability and performance across the organization.

Responsibilities include patch management, incident response, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure security hardening, with collaboration across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Certifications in VMware, VMCE, Windows Server/Azure, or Server+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support physical and virtual servers, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Windows Server OS, services, performance, and reliability.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters and VMs.
• Manage enterprise storage provisioning, replication, and capacity planning.
• Oversee backup and recovery platforms, retention, and DR testing.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and capacity; perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement server hardening, patch management, and privilege access controls.
• Coordinate changes through change management with testing and rollback.
• Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
