Job summary

AECOM has an opening for a Senior Construction Safety Professional in Salisbury, VA, working full-time at client sites as an owner's representative on a large data center campus. You will review and elevate safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety across sites.

The role requires 60% field engagement, collaboration with contractors, and reporting to client stakeholders. US citizenship is required and relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 6+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in construction safety or related field.
• Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass MVR.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on client’s EHS culture and regulatory requirements at the site.
• Develop, implement and maintain safety and health programs to reduce risk.
• Supervise EHS personnel and support site teams.
• Lead contractor coordination on safety actions and improvements.
• Review CEHSPs for conformance with owner requirements and regulations.
• Report on EHS performance, incidents, and KPIs to client stakeholders.
• Provide site-specific health and safety training as requested.
• Travel to multiple local project locations as needed.
