Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a senior safety professional to lead EHS planning, risk assessments, audits and incident investigations on large-scale data center projects. You will coordinate with contractors and owners, deliver safety training, and report on safety performance. Onsite work with flexibility to meet client needs is required.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety/engineering and 10+ years in construction safety, with preference for data center experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or engineering.
• 10+ years in construction/safety management, preferably in data centers or mission critical facilities.
• 3+ years of senior safety management or design management experience.

Responsibilities

• You’ll develop, review, and manage project-specific EHS Plans aligned with policy and OSHA regulations.
• You’ll oversee prevention strategies and controls for high-risk activities such as working at heights and electrical work.
• You’ll ensure risk assessments are conducted and integrated into schedules and planning.
• You’ll conduct safety inspections, audits, and oversee HRA controls with corrective actions.
• You’ll investigate incidents, injuries, and near-misses with root cause analysis.
• You’ll lead weekly safety meetings and safety committees to foster a positive culture.
• You’ll prepare and submit monthly safety management reports with summaries and improvements.
• You’ll coordinate with contractors and owners to verify compliance and participate in meetings.
• You’ll deliver safety orientation and training communications for a diverse workforce.
• You’ll certify project EHS Plan compliance alongside managers onsite.
