Job summary

Expertise Delivered seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead EHS on Northern Virginia data center construction projects as an Owner's Representative. You will ensure adherence to safety standards, coordinate with contractors, and drive continuous safety improvements on busy construction sites.

The role emphasizes field presence, incident investigations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold our Culture of Care and local regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction safety on active projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926, NFPA 70E, and local equivalents.
• Experience reviewing contractor safety plans and hazard assessments.
• Strong incident investigation and corrective action skills.
• Effective coaching and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's Representative supporting the Construction EHS function across projects.
• Maintain a visible presence on active sites with safety observations.
• Review contractor EHS Plans for compliance with safety requirements and regs.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and identify gaps and trends.
• Evaluate hazard assessments and RAMS/JHA/Permit-to-Work processes.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct field EHS inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
• Lead safety observation programs and coach project teams and contractors.
• Prepare reports on EHS performance, trends, incidents, and actions.
• Promote EHS campaigns and share lessons learned across projects.
