Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. seeks a Construction Safety Associate to support EH&S initiatives for a data center construction expansion.

You will provide on-site safety leadership, monitor contractor compliance, and conduct daily safety audits to promote a proactive safety culture across all construction activities. You will work with Project Management, EH&S personnel, contractors, and the Owner’s Representative to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or EH&S support roles.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with project leadership, contractors, and field personnel.
• Proficiency in preparing safety records, maintaining documentation, and tracking compliance.
• Experience working in active construction environments with regular field inspections.
• OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 500 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site safety leadership for data center construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety standards.
• Conduct daily formal safety audits and inspections; document findings and corrective actions.
• Advise Owner’s Representative on site safety conditions and risk mitigation.
• Deliver site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and technical safety training as needed.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and verify safe work practices.
• Prepare standardized safety reports on safety performance and compliance.
• Maintain safety logs, inspection records, and incident documentation.
• Assist with OSHA interactions and recordkeeping as appropriate.
• Communicate safety concerns to project leadership and recommend corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of site safety practices.
