Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Construction Project Manager II for Next 150 Construction on-site to oversee project direction, completion, and financial outcomes. You will mentor project staff and collaborate with the project team to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery on complex projects.

Responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating with subs and architects, and managing pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger.
• Data center or highly complex construction project experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the project team and maintain a positive work environment.
• Manage the project using established project controls, scheduling and cost management.
• Coordinate with construction manager, architects and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs and change management.
• Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating and cost control.
• Prepare monthly cost/schedule/safety/cash flow reports for internal/external use.
• Provide on-site leadership for safety and quality; develop contingency plans for risks and expansion of services.
• Collaborate with accounting to prepare and review billing and attend coordination meetings.
