Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking an on-site Project Manager for a Next 150 Construction project. You will support overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes while mentoring project staff including Engineers and Superintendents.

You will supervise daily field activities, coordinate with architects and subcontractors, and drive design and construction success on a self-perform team. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–10+ years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Manage the project using established project controls and procedures.
• Perform constructability and coordination reviews.
• Communicate with construction manager, architects and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change management.
• Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating and cost control.
• Prepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow for internal and external use.
• Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality.
• Work with accounting to prepare and review billing.
• Attend jobsite coordination meetings.
