Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking an on-site Project Manager to lead the Next 150 Construction effort, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of Project Engineers and Superintendents. You will supervise, mentor, and drive successful project outcomes on a self-perform platform, with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget.

The role requires coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and field crews, while leveraging Gilbane’s training resources and support from Gilbane University to develop

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–10+ years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on-site to motivate the project team.
• Manage the project using established project controls and procedures.
• Perform constructability and coordination reviews.
• Coordinate with construction manager, architects and subcontractors on risk, timelines, and budgets.
• Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating and cost control.
• Prepare monthly reports on cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow.
• Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality.
• Develop contingency plans for risks and potential expansions.
• Collaborate with accounting on billing and progress claims.
• Lead jobsite coordination meetings and field planning.
• Coordinate material planning with on-site teams.
