Gilbane Building seeks a Project Manager II to lead on-site direction, completion, and the financial outcome of a medium-sized construction project. You will be on the job site daily, guiding the project team and ensuring performance, safety, and quality while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a technical background with 5–10 years of construction management experience. Collaboration with engineers, superintendents, and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to project safety planning and provides jobsite leadership.
• Manages project controls, risk mitigation, change management, and forecast to meet contract requirements.
• Creates and manages a project quality plan aligned with contract documents and owner requirements.
• Develops and oversees CPM schedule and monthly updates.
• Collaborates with business development to align sales strategies with project performance.
• Oversees direct reports, motivates the team, and maintains a positive work environment.
• Ensures subcontracting strategy, scopes, and buyout processes maintain contract integrity.
