Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC, Hobart Service division, is seeking a Service/Repair Technician III in Dallas to install, diagnose, and repair commercial food equipment on site.

The role requires high school diploma or GED with 4–7 years in food equipment service or 2–4 years HVACR, certification desirable; heavy travel up to 50%; strong safety and customer-service focus; working hours include on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–7 years of food equipment service experience or 2–4 years HVACR service experience.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• EPA Certification and industry certifications (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) are desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret standard service manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs and leads advanced installations of commercial food equipment.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs equipment on contract or T&M basis.
• Interprets schematics and follows operations sequences.
• Promotes safety procedures and SOPs.
• Maintains assets including vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Provides on-site support to Hobart Service customers.
