Hobart Service in Dallas, TX is seeking a Service/Repair Technician IV with advanced HVACR and electrical expertise to install, diagnose, and repair commercial food equipment on‑site. The role involves complex projects, after‑hours support, and adherence to safety procedures.

The incumbent will act as a primary contact for major accounts, train junior technicians, and help drive service quality and equipment uptime across customer locations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED and 7+ years of food equipment service experience and/or 4+ years of HVACR service experience.
• Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment.
• Industry certification is highly desirable.
• Accredited Certified Technician (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) and EPA Certification.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Primary point of contact for key customer accounts, including service‑related issues.
• Assists with onboarding, training, and development of new technicians.
• Leads complex projects including installations and turn‑keys.
• Diagnose and repair software errors, failures, and malfunctions in electronic food equipment.
• Installs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration equipment and leads advanced installs.
• Maintains and repairs equipment on contract or T&M basis.
• Reads and interprets schematics and sequence of operations.
• Follows Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
