Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced structural engineer for the xPL Offsite division. You will design, analyze, and detail structural systems for offsite manufactured components and oversee their integration on complex projects.

The role requires PE licensure, ABET-accredited degree, and strong communication skills to coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients. Limited travel and a focus on safety, quality, and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; 6+ years in structural analysis/design preferred.
PE licensure required and active.
Strong communication and ability to present technical info to non-technical audiences.
Experience with building codes (ASCE, AISC, IBC).
Ability to produce/manage engineering drawings and coordinate with design teams.

Responsibilities

Develop structural designs for xPL Offsite Manufacturing (OSM) products and systems.
Perform complete structural analysis including FEM to validate designs.
Collaborate with Architects, MEP, and other engineers to integrate OSM components.
Create detailed drawings and simulations using SAP2000, STAAD, Inventor, and Revit.
Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to finalize designs.
