Job summary

EDG Inc in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an Automation Senior Project Manager to oversee offshore automation projects, focusing on ICSS design, engineering, and standards. You will coordinate with operations, maintenance, and vendors to ensure capital projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in automation, offshore experience, and HUET or ability to obtain certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar discipline preferred.
Ten (10) or more years of technical experience designing and implementing control systems (PLC and DCS).
Ten (10) or more years of total experience in the automation industry.
Current HUET certification or willingness to attain certification.
Knowledge of project execution in automation projects.
Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering and design services for technology and automation projects.
Develop schedules, plans, and budgets for project elements.
Prepare forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates; produce financial reports.
Ensure client satisfaction and safe delivery within budgets and schedules.
Lead with a focus on safety and culture to motivate the team.
Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Track and report project status to stakeholders.
