Job summary

EDG Inc. is seeking an Automation Sr. Project Manager to oversee capital projects across offshore assets.

You will combine technical expertise with project management to lead through all phases, coordinating with operations, maintenance, automation, stakeholders, and vendors. The role requires deepwater ICSS design/execution, extensive travel within the Houston area and offshore platforms, and a proven track record in PLC/DCS control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ten or more years designing and implementing control systems (PLC/DCS).
• HUET certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills related to engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering and design services for automation projects.
• Develop schedules, plans, and cost estimates for project elements.
• Prepare forecasts, schedules and project-related financial reports.
• Ensure client satisfaction and safe delivery within budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Be a visible safety leader to motivate team performance.
• Maintain proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track, report, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
