Job summary

EDG Inc in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Facilities Automation Lead to manage a portfolio of offshore production asset projects. The role covers all aspects of the change management process for facility upgrades and maintenance.

You will coordinate with operations, automation, and vendors, focusing on ICSS design, engineering, and compliance with standards. The candidate should have 10+ years in control systems, offshore experience, and HUET certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of technical experience designing and implementing control systems (PLC and DCS).
• Ten (10) or more years of total experience in the automation industry.
• Current HUET certification or willingness to attain certification.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and offshore project execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and initiate MOC projects across offshore assets.
• Coordinate scoping with vendors and prepare project estimates.
• Approve funding with facility engineering and leadership.
• Review deliverables for alignment with requirements and design completeness.
• Support offshore facility teams, vendors, and EPCs for project execution.
• Participate in FAT of PLC and HMI configuration changes.
