Job summary

EDG is seeking a Facilities Automation Lead to manage a portfolio of offshore production asset projects. The role emphasizes Managing Change (MOC) processes for facility upgrades and maintenance, coordinating with operations, maintenance, and vendors, and ensuring ICSS design compliance.

The candidate should have deep experience with ICSS and related standards, travel to Houston-area offices and offshore platforms, and strong collaboration across engineering, procurement and project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar; 10+ years in control systems design (PLC/DCS).
Minimum 10+ years in automation; HUET certification or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards and project execution in automation.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver Management of Change (MOC) projects for offshore assets.
Coordinate with facility engineering, operations, and vendors to scope, fund, and implement improvements.
Review design deliverables for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing of PLC and HMI configurations.
Travel to Houston area offices and offshore platforms as needed.
