Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking an Operations Manager for its Off-Premise Catering team in Atlanta. You will lead pre-event planning, logistics, and on-site operations for up to 25 events per week, coordinating with sales, culinary, and events staff to ensure flawless execution.

The role emphasizes strong F&B operations experience, VIP service knowledge, and hands-on leadership to uphold our elevated standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of offsite catering experience and/or food & beverage operations.
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles, catering equipment, and back of house operations.
• Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Renowned time management and organization skills.
• Strong customer service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.
• Ability to work alone and as a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly BEO meetings and coordinate with sales, operations, and culinary teams for each event.
• Prepare organizational documents such as pull sheets, equipment distribution, and event binders.
• Oversee event logistics from start to end: load-in, event execution, pack-out, and redistribution.
• Lead event staff and serve as the on-site point of contact for clients.
• Coach staff during events to maintain elevated service standards.
• Oversee linen return and facilitate pickup.
• Assist in training hourly new hires and maintain staff morale.
