Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking an Event Chef to support off-premise events in the Atlanta area. This part-time hourly role may require travel up to 50% and starts with the warehouse and event-day setups.

You’ll assist in food production, adhere to BEO timelines, and maintain service excellence at venues throughout the metro region. Ideal candidates have knowledge of food prep and strong teamwork, with good communication and a high level of integrity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation and service delivery for live events.
• Ability to work as part of a culinary team in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent listening and guest communication during events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event kitchen setup and ensure cleanliness for prep areas.
• Follow event timelines and read the event’s BEO for duties.
• Support in food production across stations, buffets, and plating.
• Provide professional guest service and assist with pre-event loading.
• Participate in event breakdown and post-event cleaning.
