Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Senior OEM Outside Sales Engineer who will drive sales of assigned electrical product lines to key customers. This hybrid role requires close coordination with distributors, customers, end users and specifiers within a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, Arden, or Greenville.

You will develop proposals, interpret plans, provide technical guidance, and use market intelligence to optimize price, mix and margin while meeting annual sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of experience within the electrical industry.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position; must reside within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC; Arden, NC or Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Sell assigned product lines to targeted customers in target market areas.
• Coordinate sales for the distributor and customer base.
• Manage all aspects of customer relationships with distributors, customers, end users and specifiers.
• Provide timely and accurate information for order entry and market intelligence on competitors and customer needs.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations according to company guidelines.
• Communicate with customers, warehouses and plants to facilitate problem resolution.
