Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Lead EOEM Outside Sales Engineer. This hybrid-based role requires residence within 50 miles of Arden, NC, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Columbia, SC, or Greenville, SC.

You will market and sell Eaton's electrical components and assemblies, manage the customer base, develop sales plans, and collaborate with distributors and EatonCare. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates within 50 miles of Arden, NC; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Columbia, SC or Greenville, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
• Quote projects and negotiate correct required pricing.
• Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding and awareness.
• Build relationships with key customers to enhance long-term business prospects.
• Work with factories to resolve technical issues and assist customers with quality issues.
• Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust pricing and delivery requirements.
• Assist team to develop a coordinated sales effort and stay informed of market conditions.
• Obtain ongoing training in both functional and technical skills.
