Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in ocean import logistics or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of ocean import documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and external partners
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with customs compliance and import regulations preferred
• Advanced level of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
• Bi-lingual (English and Korean) preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ocean import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Prepare and review import documentation including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and commercial invoices
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and vendors to resolve shipment issues and delays
• Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers
• Ensure compliance with all import regulations and company policies
• Assist in the resolution of claims related to damaged or lost cargo
• Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance processes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize ocean import processes
