LGLNA Irving, TX is seeking an Ocean Import Operations Senior Associate to join our logistics team. The role emphasizes accurate shipment management for ocean and air imports/exports, strong communication with carriers, and maintaining detailed records to support end-to-end operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of freight forwarding experience, knowledge of import/export regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a BA in supply chain, logistics or related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in ocean/air import/export logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ocean/air shipping procedures, documentation, and international trade regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; bilingual (English and Korean) communication with diverse teams and partners.

Mansioni

• Manage, coordinate, and schedule bookings for ocean/air import and export shipments from origin to destination.
• Execute full range of freight forwarding services, including order management, movement scheduling, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Prepare and review shipping and import/export documentation; ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with customs brokers.
• Communicate proactively with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and clients to resolve shipment issues and track statuses.
• Process and analyze data to identify patterns and implement process improvements; maintain accurate records for audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
