Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is hiring a Senior Occupancy Planner in New York to lead occupancy strategies and portfolio optimization for our client. You will model data-driven space solutions, coordinate with Real Estate, Workplace Services, and facilities teams, and drive headcount projections and timelines.

The role requires 5–7 years in occupancy planning with strong Google Sheets analytics, CAFM systems, and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of occupancy planning, space management, and change management experience.
• Expert-level data analytics with Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into occupancy plans and space solutions.
• Serve as primary liaison between client and internal partners to align headcount projections and timelines.
• Communicate and manage change before, during, and after workspace transitions.
• Oversee data quality, block/stack plans, and headcount audits with continuous improvement.
• Mentor occupancy planning and space teams, providing onboarding and performance guidance.
