Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Automation & Observability Engineer for a remote role in the United States. You will lead monitoring, observability, and telemetry initiatives across enterprise infrastructure, applications, and IoT platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and visualizations using Grafana.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, middleware, and IoT services using Instana, Grafana, SolarWinds.
• Configure data collection with Telegraf, Prometheus, and agents.
• Analyze metrics, logs, traces, events, telemetry data for performance bottlenecks.
• Support SLO, SLA, and health monitoring initiatives.
• Perform RCA and troubleshooting for infra and app issues.
• Support FOAK onboarding and ELT integrations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams during incident resolution.
• Administer IBM Instana monitoring environments and set alerts.
• Automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, VBScript.
• Implement IaC with Ansible and Puppet.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge docs.
