Job summary

Q2 is seeking a senior engineer to own observability platforms and automation across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll architect, prototype, and productionize solutions, mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable tooling that powers the business.

You’ll work full-stack, partner with security, DevOps, and product teams, and drive improvements from design to deployment, ensuring a high bar for quality and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years in software engineering, automation, or observability tooling.
• Expertise in C# or Go and scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement observability and automation across cloud and on-prem.
• Lead full-stack apps and APIs enabling automated data collection and visualization.
• Enforce best practices for design, security, and performance.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across teams.
• Own lifecycle of observability tools, CI/CD, and IaC.
