SAK Management seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing and training the nursing staff and overseeing resident care. The role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies, while actively participating in budgeting and quality initiatives.

You will supervise shifts, lead the interdisciplinary team, and maintain ongoing professional development in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid State RN license.
• Minimum one year experience in nursing service administration.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations for long-term care.
• Full-time employment and serve only one facility in such capacity.
• Maintains rapport with outside medical professionals.
• Successfully completes facility orientation and mandatory training.
• Must meet health assessment requirements (Mantoux).
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that a sufficient number of qualified supervisory nursing personnel are assigned for each unit/shift.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selection of nursing personnel.
• Participate in coordination of resident services through staff committees.
• Review nursing documentation and ensure it accurately reflects resident care and responses.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for nursing services.
• Maintain compliance with state directives and nursing department policies.
• Be on-call 24 hours for nursing emergencies.

Formation

State RN license

1 year nursing service administration experience

Knowledge of long-term care regulations (state, federal, local)

Full-time employment at one facility

Rapport with outside medical professionals

Facility orientation and mandatory training completion

Health assessment requirement (Mantoux)

English communication (written & spoken)
