Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead and support nursing teams while ensuring high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with physicians and staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a dynamic long-term care environment. The ADON will contribute to staffing plans, oversee care plans and infection control, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.
