Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a qualified nurse (RN or LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires adherence to Federal, State, and local standards and facility policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

Strong leadership and clear English communication are essential. Responsibilities include developing care plans, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring proper documentation and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• CPR certification required or within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to customers.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Plan and implement a written plan of care for each customer.
• Attend care conferences and communicate with physicians and family.
