Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will ensure quality care and effective unit management.

Responsibilities include planning, directing nursing procedures, and maintaining compliance with policies while fostering a warm, professional environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Demonstrates interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to customers.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by nursing assistants.
• Ensure supervision follows Federal, State, and local standards and facility policies.
• Plan, develop, and direct care for a unit.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and documentation.
