Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and ensure closure of corrective actions with objective evidence.

The role requires 5+ years of nuclear QA experience, strong auditing skills to CFR and NQA-1 standards, and the ability to manage a team of auditors and technical specialists across sites and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience auditing construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred; ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report; supervise auditors.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend actions; perform surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support related audits.
