Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program built to ASME NQA-1. Plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will audit against 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1, supervise auditors, and maintain qualification records. Travel to project sites and supplier facilities is required, with base options including Sugar Land region for Texas roles.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or qualifiable within 90 days: documented training in auditing and written examination.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1; licensee or supplier QC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend actions.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support various client audits.
