Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own our nuclear QA audit program, built on ASME NQA-1 standards. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

In this role you will maintain qualification records, supervise the audit team, and evaluate suppliers of safety-related items.

Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate extensive auditing experience within nuclear QA programs (NQA-1).
• Proven ability to lead audits end-to-end and supervise audit teams.
• Experience with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal and supplier audits from notification to closure.
• Evaluate suppliers and perform surveillance activities.
• Classify findings and issue corrective-action requests with verification of effectiveness.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
