Mission Technologies, a division of HII, in Newport News, VA, seeks an Engineer Mechanical 4 to advance naval Nuclear Propulsion Overhaul projects and modernize reactor plant mechanical systems during major maintenance availabilities. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work with engineering and non-technical teams, and willingness to provide hands-on support aboard ships as needed.

Formación

9 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in related field.
7 years relevant experience with a Masters in related field.
4 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
Proficient with PCs, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and standard test equipment.
Must be proficient in SAP.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain confidential security clearance.

Responsabilidades

Researching and planning processes, tooling, and material requirements to deliver fully engineered solutions for nuclear work.
Developing technical work instructions, including procedures and troubleshooting documentation.
Providing on-site support and resolving issues encountered during shipboard or shop operations.
Identifying, researching, and implementing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Managing projects from initial planning through completion.
