Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's Power Global Practice in Chicago is seeking experienced Project Managers for our Nuclear team, focusing on operating nuclear plants and new nuclear projects including SMRs, microreactors, and Advanced Reactors.

You will lead projects across engineering, procurement, and construction management related to the design, operation, maintenance, modification, and licensing of nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Licensed professional engineer preferred.
• Ability to be authorized for unescorted access at a U.S. nuclear facility.
• Strong knowledge of project management and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial expertise on contract setup, staffing, and client management.
• Direct and coordinate activities of multiple disciplines on projects.
• Oversee proposal development including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Assess risks and lead go/no-go analyses.
• Lead and mentor staff on major projects and maintain client relations.
