Ladders currently seeks a Senior Design Engineer Energy to join a leader in the Business Services space as a remote position based in the United States. This role will lead chemical process design efforts for nuclear facilities, collaborating with senior professionals, project teams, clients, and regulators to guide work from concept through delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only; compensation ranges from $146,000 to $244,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 15–25 years of experience in chemical process design for nuclear facilities.
• Expert knowledge of design codes and standards for nuclear facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi‑jurisdiction would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for chemical process engineering in nuclear facilities.
• Identify and recommend improvements to engineering processes and services.
• Provide oversight and technical direction to senior professionals and project teams.
• Represent the organization in discussions with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure technical quality, code compliance and practical engineering solutions.
