Ladders currently seeks a Senior Design Engineer Energy to join a leader in the Business Services space as a remote position based in the United States. This role will lead chemical process design efforts for nuclear facilities, collaborating with senior professionals, project teams, clients, and regulators to guide work from concept through delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only; compensation ranges from $146,000 to $244,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 15–25 years of experience in chemical process design for nuclear facilities.
• Expert knowledge of design codes and standards for nuclear facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi‑jurisdiction would be preferred.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Design Engineer Energy - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead chemical process design efforts supporting nuclear facilities, with a strong emphasis on technical quality, code compliance, and practical engineering solutions. The position will partner closely with senior professionals, project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to guide complex work from concept through delivery. It is well suited for an experienced engineer who can provide hands‑on technical direction while also identifying process improvements that strengthen engineering services and outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $146,000 - $244,000 annually
